Twitter has begun rolling out changes to its Android app that provide users sliding into DMs with a more visually appealing interface.

The social network’s Android app has largely remained unchanged over the years, but this minor update was intended to provide users with “a smoother, more consistent experience overall.”

Twitter says it began redesigning its DMs on Android after evaluating the experience on the OS and determining that it needed to be improved.

As shown in the screenshots below, the app’s messages view now has rounder speech bubbles and a text box at the bottom.

The inbox itself appears less cluttered and lacks line breaks. Similarly, the message requests view now includes a “x” button for each request, making it simple to delete them.
