CD Projekt Red may face a legal battle any time from now. According to a Bloomberg report, a company called Rosen Law said it has opened a class-action lawsuit against the firm.

The lawsuit alleges that the studio’s management deceived investors about the state of the game before its release and didn’t say that Cyberpunk 2077 was virtually unplayable on the PS4 and Xbox One due to an enormous number of bugs.
But Rosen Law at the main time doesn’t have a lead plaintiff, but shareholders can join it by filling out an online form that has been provided.
The class-action lawsuit is the first of what could be several potential legal battles for CD Projekt Red due to Cyberpunk 2077. The New York Times also reported that investors in the company’s home country of Poland are looking at legal action against the studio too.
Criticism following the launch has been very negative that Sony decided to pull the game from the PlayStation Store, meanwhile, Microsoft expanded its return policy to make it difficult for it to come back.

CD Projekt Red on its part has promised to do a refund to anyone who purchased the game at retail and finds it difficult to return their copy. The lawsuit follows CD Projekt Red announcement that it had sold about 13 million copies of the game.
