The USA President Donald Trump again came under fire from Twitter after he tweeted that the mail drop boxes which are used as the US Postal Service are not getting sanitized.

In his tweet, the USA’s first citizen Trump said the mail drop boxes are not sanitized for Covid-19.

“So now the Democrats are using Mail Drop Boxes, which are a voter security disaster. Among other things, they make it possible for a person to vote multiple times. Also, who controls them, are they placed in Republican or Democrat areas? They are not COVID sanitized. A big fraud.”

This has prompted the social media company Twitter to call Trump into order saying his tweet violates its “Civil integrity Policy.”

The reply said, “We placed a public interest notice on this Tweet for violating our Civic Integrity Policy for making misleading health claims that could potentially dissuade people from participation in voting.”

Twitter has since allowed people only to retweet with a comment but not like, reply, or retweet Trump’s tweet.

According to Brennan Centre for Justice, fraud into the Mail in or dropbox voter is rare than as Trump claimed. This is so because the system checks and balances are done thoroughly.

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the traditional way of how people use to do things. The Democrats and Republicans are facing off at the ballot whereby Mail-in or dropbox are used to keep the votes. However, as much as fraud can be ruled out, a problem that can exist on drop boxes is a delay in getting the votes to be counted.
