According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple’s much-anticipated M3 MacBook Pro and MacBook Air are expected to be released next year.
Gurman initially speculated that the MacBook Air with the new M3 chip would be launched in October, but he now suggests that it will likely debut between the spring and summer of the following year.
In his recent Power On newsletter, Gurman reveals that the 13-inch and 15-inch M3 MacBook Airs are currently in the engineering verification test (EVT) stage.
On the other hand, the M3 MacBook Pros are more advanced in the production process and are nearing mass production.
The 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros, equipped with the M3 Pro and M3 Max chips, have reached the design validation test (DVT) stage, which indicates that they are on track for release between early and spring 2024.
It is worth noting that Apple introduced its 2023 MacBook Pros with the M2 Pro and M2 Max chips in January. However, Gurman’s report contradicts recent rumors that Apple will unveil new iPads in the near future.
Although upgrades for the iPad Air and iPad mini, including the adoption of the M2 chip and A16 Bionic respectively, are in development, Gurman suggests that significant updates are not imminent.
Your point of view caught my eye and was very interesting. Thanks. I have a question for you.
