In a significant development for gaming enthusiasts, Xbox Cloud Gaming is set to launch on Amazon’s Fire TV Sticks in July.
This marks a pivotal moment as the Xbox TV app extends beyond Samsung’s monitors and TVs. With this launch, more gamers will have the opportunity to stream their favorite Xbox games directly to Fire TV devices.
To access Xbox Cloud Game through the Xbox TV app, users will need a Fire TV Stick 4K Max or Fire TV Stick 4K model.

Additionally, a Bluetooth-enabled wireless controller and an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription are essential. The app will be available in over 25 countries, making it accessible to a broad audience.
This extension to Amazon’s Fire TV Sticks follows Microsoft’s initial partnership with Samsung in 2022. Back then, the Xbox TV app was launched on Samsung’s 2022 smart TVs.
Subsequently, the app also made its way to Meta’s Quest VR headsets, offering access to Xbox Cloud Game.
According to Ashley McKissick, head of Xbox experiences and platforms engineering, this move is part of a broader strategy to bring cloud gaming to more devices and users globally.
