Mercedes-Benz has unveiled a preview of its upcoming 2025 EQS electric vehicle model, showcasing a new grille design that bears a striking resemblance to the S-Class.

The EQS features chrome slats against a deep black background and a standing star on its hood, giving it a more traditional Benz look.

Aside from the aesthetic changes, the 2025 EQS also boasts several upgrades that enhance its comfort and performance. One notable improvement is the larger battery, which now has a usable capacity of 118 kWh, compared to the previous model’s 108.4 kWh.

With a higher kWh, the EQS is expected to offer a longer range than its predecessor’s EPA-estimated 350 miles.

In addition to the larger battery, Mercedes has incorporated new regenerative braking software into the EQS. This innovative feature allows the vehicle to recover more energy during braking, resulting in a longer range and reduced wear on the brake discs.

It also improves the pedal feel, providing a more responsive and enjoyable driving experience.

While the automaker has yet to announce the price of the 2025 EQS, it is anticipated that it will start at $100,000 or more when it arrives at US dealerships later this year.

With its luxurious design, advanced technology, and enhanced performance, the EQS is poised to impact the electric vehicle market significantly.
