On April 13, the Asus ROG Phone 7 is scheduled to launch in India. The forthcoming ROG series smartphone is rumored to have gotten certification from Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission before making its official debut (NBTC).

While the listing makes no mention of any important phone specifications, it does mention 5G connectivity. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC is predicted to power the Asus ROG Phone 7. The new version will replace the ROG Phone 6, which made its debut in July of last year.

Twitter user @stufflistings Mukul Sharma shared screenshots of what appears to be an Asus ROG Phone 7 listing on the NBTC website. The listing makes reference to the model Asus_AI2205_C.

According to the listing, the smartphone supports GSM, WCDMA LTE, and NR networks. This suggests that the future phone will have 5G connection. The NBTC listing also suggests that Taiwan is where the phone is made.

An earlier ASUS_AI2205_C model of the Asus ROG Phone 7 was purportedly discovered on the Geekbench benchmarking site. According to the listing, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC will power the phone.

According to rumors, it will be powered by Android 13 and have ROG UI installed on top. It might have 256GB of internal storage and 16GB of RAM.

The single 12GB RAM + 256GB storage option of the Asus ROG Phone 6, which is powered by Qualcomm’s top-tier Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, went on sale for $879.75 (RS 71,999) in July of last year.
