Yahoo has released the latest version of its Mail app, which includes a number of updates to help users track receipts, shipments, gift cards, and “free trial” subscriptions that must be cancelled by a certain date.

A new design also aims to make navigation easier, with contextual filters at the top of the inbox, one-tap unsubscribe, attachment organization, and other features.

If you like to sign up for free trials, the free trial tracker may be useful. It places reminders at the top of your inbox to notify you when a free trial expires, allowing you to decide whether to keep or cancel it without worrying about the deadline.

It also provides updated package tracking alerts to let you know where your package is or if it’s ready for pickup.

Another new view allows you to see receipts for all of your orders in one place, making it easier to track spending and make returns.

Finally, the gift card view consolidates all of your unused gift cards in one place, allowing you to use them before they expire.

Mail also gets some new design elements, most notably an updated top-of-inbox navigation that allows you to switch between the inbox, attachments, starred items, and productivity reminders.

As reminders, it now includes one-tap unsubscribe, group by sender, and “email to myself” messages you’ve sent. Finally, a new “attachments” filter allows you to display and filter all of your attachments by type (PDFs, Docs, Photos) so you don’t have to search through every email.

While not as well-known as Gmail or Outlook, Yahoo Mail is close behind those two services in terms of popularity, with approximately 225 million users as of 2020.

The update is now available for iOS and Android, though it may take some time to reach you.
