Following its absence in 2022, one of the most important gaming trade shows will return next year.

The Entertainment Software Association announced on Monday that E3 2023 will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center from June 13th to June 16th, with public access beginning on June 15th. Prior to the show, there will be partner showcases beginning on June 11th.

The ESA had planned to hold a digital-only event before canceling it last year, but changed its mind. The organization stated at the time that it would devote its resources to delivering a “revitalized physical and digital E3 experience next summer.”

The ESA has enlisted the assistance of ReedPop, a company with experience organizing events such as PAX, EGX, and Star Wars Celebration, for next year’s show.

The 2023 show will be crucial for the ESA. Even before the pandemic, the importance of E3 had dwindled as companies such as Sony decided not to participate in the 2019 edition.
