LG unveiled its upcoming premium monitors at IFA Berlin this year, including a 45-inch curved display designed specifically for more immersive gaming experiences.

The model (45GR95QE) is the company’s first curved display under the UltraGear brand of gaming monitors, as well as its first OLED display with a 240Hz refresh rate.

It has a 21:9 aspect ratio for an ultrawide view, a WQHD resolution (3440 x 1440), and it supports HDR10 and HDMI 2.1.

The aspect ratio and borderless design of the monitor, combined with its 800R curvature, are intended to make gamers feel immersed in the game they’re playing.

LG even applied an anti-glare and low-reflection coating to the screen to reduce the feeling of watching a game on a screen.

If all of this sounds familiar, it’s because Corsair recently released the Xeneon Flex, a 45-inch 1440p gaming monitor developed in collaboration with LG. However, unlike this UltraGear model, it has a bendable design that can go from straight to 800R in curvature.

LG showcased the UltraFine Display Ergo AI at IFA, in addition to its upcoming 45-inch curved display.

The 31.5-inch display includes a built-in camera that monitors the user’s eye level and then automatically adjusts the display’s height and tilt so that the user does not remain in the same position for an extended period of time.

Unfortunately, LG did not reveal the prices or availability of the monitors, so those interested will have to wait for more information.
