Hoyoverse announced on Saturday that the long-awaited 3.0 update for Genshin Impact will be available on August 24th.

The update, dubbed “The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings,” will add a new rainforest and desert-themed region called Sumeru for players to explore, as well as a slew of new characters to collect, including multiple five-star combatants.

Collie, a new addition to the roster, can be obtained for free as part of the upcoming Graven Innocence event. 3.0 will, as one might expect, continue the overall story of Genshin Impact.

Hoyoverse released a lengthy teaser trailer outlining the update’s features. The studio also revealed that the next three updates for Genshin Impact will be released within five weeks of one another.

As a result, you can expect them to be released on September 28th, November 2nd, and December 7th, respectively. The most recent update to the game was released on July 13th.

Hoyoverse is currently working on several projects, including new Genshin Impact content. Zenless Zone Zero and Honkai: Star Rail were announced earlier this year by the studio.

Although neither game has a set release date, Hoyoverse began beta testing the former in early August.
