Hong Kong airport has taken new measures using the latest autonomous cleaning technology and robots to protect passengers and staff from Coronavirus infections during this pandemic.

Amongst the autonomous it includes a full-body disinfection cubicle that includes a temperature test and a 40 seconds disinfection procedure. The airport center says its initial trial clean-Tech is an enclosed cubicle that is similar to a tanning cubicle; it kills any trace of the virus.
The surface cubicle has an antimicrobial coating that appears to slightly kill the virus and bacteria on human bodies and clothing. The cubicle is currently being tested amongst airport employees.
The Deputy Director service Delivery Airport Authority Steven Yin, said even though the air traffic is affected by the pandemic the airport Authority will do everything to provide a safe environment for all airport users. They are still working on enhancing the cleanliness and disinfection of the airport.
The robots use ultraviolet light to sterilize 99% of surfaces such as toilets and can also sterilize the air. Hong Kong has only confirmed four deaths since the beginning of the Coronavirus outbreak. Most big airlines have begun launching their own preventative measures at their home airports.
Emirates have started doing Coronavirus blood test for passengers leaving from Dubai. The tests are conducted by the Dubai Health Authority and results are ready within 10 minutes.

Etihad Airways has installed self-serve, contactless cubicle that will alarm the crew of risk travelers by monitoring their temperature, heart rate and respiratory rate.
Along with more strict disinfection practices, it’s more likely that when air travel reopens, travelers and staff it be will be compulsory to wear face masks. In recent weeks, airlines including JetBlue, Lufthansa and Air Canada announced that travelers will be required to wear masks throughout their journey.
