PayPal is finally doing much more with its three-year-old Honey acquisition than just changing the name.
The payments company has introduced a unified PayPal Rewards program, which combines Honey’s cash back and discount-finding features with store offers and other PayPal-specific perks.

You now have a centralized location to manage and access all of the service’s cost-cutting features. According to the company, this will include a variety of “card products” in the future.
The Rewards program is now available in the United States, and you can find it in a separate section of PayPal’s mobile app.
If you have Honey Gold points, they will be converted into PayPal Rewards points that you can access in one place by linking accounts.

If you were already taking advantage of these deals, the change may not have much of an impact. However, it may be easier to keep track of them.
There’s also a good chance PayPal hopes you’ll try Honey or other money-saving services if you haven’t already.
