Windows 11 S Mode: Here Is How You Get Out

You install any program you download with a standard version of Windows 11 (or Windows 10). They are not required to be downloaded from the Microsoft Store, as is the case with S Mode.

When you press that button, you’ll be taken to a special page within the Store where Microsoft explains why it’s best to stay in S Mode for your own protection. In addition to less powerful devices, you will see the S Mode on devices that children frequently use.

Keep in mind that some programs and video games are not available through the Microsoft Store. Consider a number of new games released by specific game publishers.

Although Microsoft puts a lot of effort into maintaining the Microsoft Store and hopes that many companies will release their apps and games in it, you won’t always find what you’re looking for in the digital store.

Getting out of Windows 11 S Mode
